V K Sreekandan, a Politician of the Indian National Congress party from the Kerala state is serving as a member of the Lok Sabha of the Parliament of India from Palakkad seat. Sreekandan is the active political leader of the state and served as the district president of the Kerala State Congress Party. He is currently serving his second consecutive term as a member of Lok Sabha. He was once alleged for the defeat of K Muraleedharan son of Former congress leader K, Karunakaran from Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency in 2024.

He served as a member of the Congress party for a long time before being nominated as the candidate of Lok Sabha in 2019.
