Advocate Dean Kuriakose, an Indian politician of Kerala state and current Member of Lok Sabha, The lower house of the Parliament of India was born in 1981 in Ikkranad city of Ernakulam District of Kerala. His father A M Kuriakose was involved in Politics and social service in his time and his mother Rosamma Kurikose was a homemaker and always stayed with her husband in social service. Dean has finished his schooling in his native place and earned an LLB degree from Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. He currently working as an active advocate. He inherited social service from his father and joined the Nehru Yuva Kendra organization of social service at a young age.

Dean joined the Youth Congress committee as a member while he was practicing law as an advocate. He actively participated in Dharnas and another protest against the opposition government of the state in his district. Dean Kuriakose was jailed and lots of Criminal cases resulted from his active participation in the Dharna and strikes. According to the affidavit he submitted with his nomination form to the Election Commission of India more than 200 Criminal cases are registered against him.
