Ajay Makan, senior Congress Leader and member of Parliament Rajya Sabha was born in 1964 in New Delhi. His uncle was a member of the parliament of the Congress party and died in the riots of 1985. He completed his schooling in New Delhi and graduated from Delhi University. Ajay was elected as the president of Delhi University as the candidate of NSUI. He was in his final year of B. Sc.
