Giriraj Singh, an Indian politician from Bihar state is currently serving as the Member of the 18th Lok Sabha and union minister of Textile in the central government of India. He won the Begusarai Lok Sabha constituency in the general election of Lok Sabha in 2024 as the candidate of the Bhartiya Janta Party. In his third term as a member of the parliament, Shri Giriraj Singh was included in the PM Narendra Modi-led government of India

He was born in the family of Ramavtar Singh and Tara Devi in the Barahiya town of Lakhisarai District in 1952. Giriraj Singh was brought up and finished his schooling at a government school in his town. He joined Magadh University and obtained a bachelor’s degree. His political career started in 2004 as a member of the Legislative Council of Bihar state. In the 2014 general election, Shandilya Giriraj Singh was elected from the Nawada constituency as a member of Parliament (Lok Sabha).
