Dr Mansukh Laxmanbhai Mandaviya, a well-known politician from Gujarat, has been serving as a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Minister of Labour and Employment, and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports since 2024. He was elected to the 18th Lok Sabha from Porbandar Lok Sabha Constituency as the candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party, by defeating the INC candidate Lalit Vasoya with a margin of 6,83,360 votes.
He was born to a middle-class farmer family of Lakhman Jivabhai and Lakhman Mandaviy in the small village of Hanol, Bhavnagar, Gujarat in 1972. Mansukh L. Mandiaviya obtained, a PhD at Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University. He started his political journey by becoming a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). Simentinously, he became a State Executive Committee Member of ABVP, Gujarat Unit.

In 2010, he was appointed as the Chairman, of Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation Limited. Mansukh L Mandaviya served as a Member of the Rajya Sabha (two terms) from 2012-18 to 2018-24.
