Dr. Mohammad Jawed, Politician and former President of the Congress working committee of Bihar is currently serving as a member of the parliament of India. He contested in the 2024 general election from Kishanganj Constituency Bihar as the representative of the Indian National Congress Party. Mohammad Jawed won the contest by defeating Janta Dal (U) candidate Muzahid Alam by more than fifty thousand votes. He was previously active in State politics and served as the MLA of the State assembly.
Md Jawed was born in the political family of Mohammad Hussain Azad, Congress party leader and former MLA, and Sayeeda Banu in Goabari village of Kishanganj. He finished his intermediate from Bihar Board and joined Government Medical College Srinagar. After completing his MBBS he started practicing in the Kishanganj and joined politics with his father.
