Pradeep Purohit, an Indian politician of the Odisha State is currently serving as a member of the Parliament of India (Lok Sabha). He was contested in the general election 2024 from Balgarh Lok Sabha constituency of the Odisha state of India. Pradip Purohit won the contest of the general election in 2024 and became a member of the parliament as the representative Bhartiya Janta Party from the Bargarh constituency.

He was born in Paikal district of Odisha state in the Brahmin family of Radheshyam Purohit and Sulochana Purohit. His family was in farming and was brought up by his mother with his siblings. He joined early schooling in his native place but dropped education after the middle class. Pradeep Purohit began farming with his family. He was inclined to politics and joined the Bhartiya Janta Party at a young age.
