Shri Raja Ram Singh Kushwaha Senior politician of Bihar state is currently serving his first term as a member of the Parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha. He contested in the general election as the representative in the general election of 2024. Raja Ram Singh won the Karakat Lok Sabha constituency defeating NDA candidate Upendra Kushwaha and Bhojpuri Singer Pawan Singh securing three lakh eighty thousand votes and a margin of more than one lakh votes.

Raja Ram was born in a family of Marginal farmers of Deepan Singh and Lakhminiyan Devi in the Ekauni Village. After schooling, he finished his engineering at Bihar College of Engineering (Now NIT Patna). Although he never used his degree in his career. Raja Ram Singh was indulged in Social service in his area and soon entered politics. He first contested in State assembly election in 1995 and joined the Bihar State assembly.

Raja Ram Singh joined in Indian Peoples Front Party in 1980. Later in 1995 he associated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation and entered into the direct electoral contest as the candidate of the CPI (ML) party in Bihar state assembly elections. Raja Ram Joined the state assembly and contested again in the next assembly election in 2000. He secured his MLA seat in 2000. Shri Raja Ram Singh is currently living in his official residence cum office in New Delhi as a Parliamentarian.
