Tejasvi Surya, a young and proactive BJP politician of the Karnataka state is currently serving his second consecutive term as a member of the parliament of India from the prestigious South Bangalore Constituency. He is a politician turned RSS member and has strong Hindutva and Nationalism in his politics. Tejasvi Surya started his political career as a member of the Student wing of RSS ABVP. He later joined the RSS and then the BJP.

He served as the General Secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha and was soon promoted as the candidate of the South Bangalore constituency. The long-term BJP leader and MP of the South Bangalore seat died in 2018. Shri Tejasvi Surya became the next candidate of the constituency in the 17th Lok Sabha general elections.

Tejasvi led the Digital communication team of the Bhartiya Janta Party in the state assembly election 2018 after his active performance in the 2014 general election campaign. His hard work in the election rewarded him with the Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 elections. He won the constituency election with a huge margin of more the two lakh seventy-seven thousand votes against INC candidate Soumya Reddy.
