Shri Vijay Kumar Dubey is a well-known Politician of Uttar Pradesh. He has been serving as a Member of Parliament representing the Kushinagar Lok Sabha Constituency since 2019. He was elected in the 2024 Indian general election as the candidate of Bhartiya Janta Patry by securing over 2,59,479 votes, against the S.P Candidate’s N.P. Kushwaha. Vijay Kumar Dubey has been an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party since 2009.

He was born to the Hindu family of the Late Shri Hari Prasad Debey and Kamla Devi in Kushi Nagar, Uttar Pradesh in 1960. Vijay Dubey only competes intermediate from Maharana Pratap Inter College, Gorakhpur. His Wife Mrs. Ranjana Dubey was block pramukh of Khadda from 2010 to 2015. His Son Shashank Dubey was Block Pramukh of Naurangiya Block from 2015 to 2020 and has been serving as the Block Pramukh Khadda since 2020.

Vijay Kumar Dubey started his political journey by joining Yogi Adityanath’s Hindu Yuva Vahini in 2001 and became the district coordinator of HUY Kushinagar. He was many times detained for protesting. After increasing his popularity, he was declared the Lok Sabha candidate by the BJP from the Kushinagar Parliamentary 2009 and lost the election. Subsequently, Vijay Dubey left the BJP & joined Congress in 2010 and won the MLA election from Khadda Assembly in 2012. In 2016, he joined the BJP again and contested the 2019 General Election.
